Why does everyone care why he makes the Derby? Seriously? Everyone thinks pretty highly of Quality Road....and they should. So why not Dunkirk? it just seems that he is garnering more than his share of threads. the derby will run, with or without him. every year there's a hot horse that everyone chats up-invariably one who doesn't make the field. i guess i just don't get excited about the runner up in races as much as some. far too often a horse who didn't have enough to win gets credit for what he almost did, while the winner gets less credit for actually winning. i even saw mention of how summer bird impressed since he was coming late yesterday...
