And now of course we are enemies of Islam. Has anyone heard one word out of an Arab government for our help in Bosnia? You think we bomb the crud out of the Sudanese? You think?

Hell no. And part of it is because this would further exacerbate our situation with other Arab governments who really dont care as long as its not their sect of Islam that is not being slaughtered. But Ill tell you this. The Sudanese troops now mass for the destruction. We could severely diminish their ability, thru the air because they are concentrated.
Just like we could have done in WWII early on. We knew Jews were being slaughtered.

So good we bomb the crap out of Serbs. Bad to bomb others. Interesting.
Pgardn,
If you think that answers the questions I asked, it doesn't.
Bomb the crap out of the Serbs? Others?
Not interesting.
It's been tried. London, Dresden, Hiroshima, Hanoi.
It didn't work.
Bombs, despite the best efforts to improve them by the most creative scientists and engineers, have not brought the intended results.
May I suggest that you read some of the later writings of Einstein? Look for his writings while at Princeton.
There needs to be better thinking than bombing the crap out of people.

I think it did work in Dresden and Hiroshima. It depends on what your definition of work means. It put a big stamp on the end of horrible confrontations that may have festered. It completely changed the outlook of two of the most respected countries in the world in Germany and Japan. I dont like violence either, and I hate to make silly statements but sometimes they are apt.

If you hit a bully in the nose and kick him in the nuts... Well it works in the schoolyard. Or it used to. Its just a problem figuring out who the bully is and how to kick him.
