Question: "If Dunkirk runs second this weekend, then he will have enough earnings to qualify for the Derby" has been asserted as fact by many media types and others.
Is this certainly true? Are there horses ahead of him who could add to their earnings and have more than $150,000? How many of the current top 20 earners are definitely not running in the Derby?
