It was great fun during the 1980s watching Frankie battle at Fair Grounds against Billy Mott, Jere Smith, Cracker Walker, Gene Norman, and Joey Dorignac.
Frankie received quite an ovation from the crowd after he won the Louisiana Derby with Mighty. It was very touching.
