The Redskins are a freaking joke. I disagree that they're driving up the prices of other free agents, since their total asshattery is recognized and understood. They'll have a good first half of the season and tank down the stretch like every year. Snyder needs to get run out of town for that team to ever win anything again.

I still think that Jason Campbell is not the answer. He doesn't impress me at all.

If I were a Skins fan, I'd be worried about Jim Zorn. I think Campbell has talent but isn't used properly.

Zorn is way too old to play QB.

Browns trade Winslow to Bucs for "undisclosed draft picks."

WOW!!! I wonder what the picks are. Gives teh Browns some much needed flexibility and the Bucs a nice safety valve WHEN healthy. Could put up some okay numbers down there. A deal that truly helps out both teams.

I thought Heiden played well in KW's absence. My buddy kept yapping about making a push for WInslow, but I wanted nothing to do with him. We already have our receiving TE in Celek, we just need another one, one that is multi dimensional. (Pettigrew comes to mind...I'll let you know when I wake up from this dream.)

Bart Scott just has to sign on the dotted line.

Jets also rumored to be frontrunners for former Steelers G Chris Kemoeatu and may have a deal in the works for former Bills CB Jabari Greer.

Based upon Kemoeatu's Super Bowl I wouldn't be real excited about him

Anybody know his contract status? How many years does he have left before he flies the coop?

Laveranues Coles currently touring the Bills practice facilities. Would be an interesting pickup. I figured he was a lock to be reunited with Pennington in Miami.

NOt sure how long he's inked up for, but it says he's set to make 4.5 in 2009 and 4.75 in 2010.

In other news, I think that Denver signed both JJ Arrington and Correll Buckhalter. If so, thank you CB for all the years here. If only Andy would have run you more.

I think the birds will get the RB from Pitt (the college team). He seems like he'd be a great addition.

Didn't see this, if they get two years out of him, then I'm okay with it (still depending on how high the draft pick is).

I believe this is the last year of his 6 year rookie contract he signed in 2004.

Thanks Scott.

I hope that conditional pick isn't much. Since I am sure the cheap ass Bucs won't lay out the money to resign him. It'll be one and done, esp. if he has a big year.

Bigs,
Its probably in your paper but I think Winslow renegotiate his contract after a good year in 2006 or 2007. He has a few years left, he is definitely not on his original contact.
