If it were me (it isn't, but I did have to get a new bionic knee this past summer and go through pain and rehab ... ) from the surgeons point of view I'd vote for "surgery now" = less crap and scarring to try and clean out of the joint than when doing it later, and as you have some fractures will also likely decrease chance of permanent arthritic changes that will haunt you forever. I'm just saying ... ![]()
