However, if they did face off in the Distaff, I wouldnt bet either one of them to win. I would prob go with a closer like Balleto. There would be way too much speed in that race for Fleet Indian to go wire to wire and I dont think Round Pound is good enough. |

She certainly has improved since Pletcher took her. Not that she was chopped liver before that, but her improvement is crazy good. That race the other day at Saratoga was a total joke. I saw harness races later on in the evening more entertaining than that.

i don't know that i'd get in a two page argument over just a feeling, but that's just me.
i can't believe everyone is getting on pine island! lol no doubt shugs sleeper success last year has something to do with it. her second-itis no doubt is from going against the top of the crop so quickly, third time was her charm. ought to be plenty of pace for her to run at late. i was on her for her stakes debut, and have enjoyed watching her progress. she's a legit threat for nov 4.

Fleet Indian isnt the only nice horse Santos rides. Are you forgetting about War Front? Somehow he has earned himself the regular jockey of this very promising sprinter from the Chief.
