it is very early in the year to run against older horses and they arent getting the proper weight (I believe that scale calls for like 13 pounds in Feb for 3 yos at 6f and 17 at a mile) but if the older horses suck it may not matter. In races for good horses like high claimers or allowance, the 3 yos are at a big disadvantage. i was too lazy to see what type of race this was
