Thanks...spelling mistake noted.

On a more serious note...you really are sharp as a marble, aren't you?

Now you know why it's called a rapier wit ...

... someone can get cut to pieces if they come too close.

But .. then again ... you might call it a "raper" wit ... since you tend to be a bit duller.

Kev- Be careful with the negative talk about a race. Slot might get upset.

speaking of wits....it would be too much of a bore for me to have a battle of them with an unarmed person, such as yourself.

But ... before you engage in such a battle ...

... you'll have to learn to start your sentences with capital letters ... and ...

... also learn that an ellipse consists of only three periods ... not four.

You haven't even the basic equipment ... much less the verbal megatonnage ... required for such a prolific campaign.

Fortunately, you don't have to be an English major in order to post on a message board.

You said it, sister ... and the most vapid posters on this site prove it every day.

Does it really matter? I pay attention to how I type only because it is one of my job duties to spell correctly and punctuate correctly. (Administrative Assistant.) Kev is a good guy, and believe me, he can spell.

Yet, still again, more advice from the lesser skilled in the language arts. It's likely -- but still shocking to think -- the little BB grandkiddies run around saying "Ummm, "Hmmmm," and "dot dot dot." I suppose it's okay; after all, they need to communicate with him on his own level.

GP,
Don't waste your time. Bold Brooklynite is the guy I out-debated as if I were Kennedy and he was Nixon. He then crawled back under his rock although he has admitted to me privately that he lives for my posts and would gladly, upon my request, begin sending 10% of his public school pension to the SentToStud foundation. I told him that $50 would be better spent in his own neighborhood.

Yep, the real racing begins then. Big Sandy (the REAL Big Sandy) plus the December turf-seeking shippers from the east hit Calder. By far, my favorite betting month.

The horses are NOW .....
