I don't think the NFL, NBA, MLB or NHL should bother playing their versions of All Star games.

Pre cable, it was a neat event because you could see players from teams you normally didn't get to see and only read about or saw on Cosell's MNF highlights. Now, you see all these guys every day so the event just meaningless.
