Pump Up, a four-year-old maiden winner for trainer Steve Margolis, sustained an open cannon bone fracture during a workout on Sunday morning and was euthanized.

The 6-year-old Paraneck Stable mare finished distant eighth, then dropped dead from "cardio-vascular collapse" pulling up after the race.
