not really surprised-the surprise is probably that she made it this long. it's a shame she had to fight that horrible disease for so long, she was certainly courageous. one of the best broodmares ever to grace our presence.

Hands down one of the great racemares, at least from a talent standpoint, that I can remember seeing.

I always thought she had such an amazing turn of foot. Too bad she was such a nutcase and also had hardluck, as in the BC mile. I still believe had she not been eliminated early in the race she could have won, even against that field.
