As for the big game - until OU and Stoops beat a quality team with a quality defense there is no reason to think that Florida won't win this game and make it 3 yrs in a row for the SEC

OU defense will have trouble containing these gators and will be worn out by the 4th qtr , playing in the orange bowl will help Urban Meyer and his crew

I expect OU to score some points , but , not be able to get Tebow off the field when they need to most

I'm feeling much better about my Sooners after reading this.....

And on a side note. I love how Texas and Florida get passes on their loss, but OU doesn't. After listening to ESPN for a month, you would think that Florida and Texas are both undefeated......

Right. I can kind of understand Texas' loss. It came at the end of a grueling stretch, it was on the road against a highly ranked conference opponent, and it came after a missed play (the missed interception before Tech scored the winning TD). That loss can be understood if not given a pass. But a home loss to Mississippi St.? No.

it was Ole Miss Rebels who just crushed TT.

I knew that. My mistake. But them crushing Tech means nothing as far as the result of the Miss/Florida game goes. I mean, Oregon St. beat USC and got crushed by Penn St. What did that mean for Penn St. when it came to the Rose Bowl?

they all lost 1 game - if you are a big 12 fan you know that TT never ever wins a big time game outside of Lubbock - you must know that

texas had the hardest 4 game stretch in the country hands down - they went 3-1 with the only loss in Lubbock on a last second play

OU got beat on a neutral field

FLorida lost at home (worst of the 3 losses) - lost cusr of 5 t/o's forced by ole miss

losing a home game should knock you out

remember i say usc should be here as well -

that being said how will the OU defense which is ranked 100th against the pass and 61st overall get florida off the field ???

this is the same OU defense who couldn't stop Boise St or West Va the last 2 yrs once in a big spot

in my opinion unless OU creates a big margin in the t/o battle they can't win this game

the offenses are both equally potent , florida has a better defense , and florida has a big edge in special teams , and as for coaching bob stoops has been outcoached the last 4 yrs in these games , losing with a better team than his opponent the last 2 yrs

as for my texas pick i was wrong , but go check the other thread - i gave everyone here Ole Miss on the ML against TT - they put up 47 on TT and would have been in the 60's if not for a sloppy 1st 10 minutes

i told everyone to take utah + the points

so i am 3-0 on games picked so far and 2-1 against the spread
