A lot of the casinos that cater to local players would be drastically affected by this. Over the holidays, I was at Green Valley Ranch which is in Henderson, NV (15 minutes from the LV strip) and it was absolutely packed with horse players each day I went.
I've also been to places like Mandalay Bay during the middle of the week in June, and you can hear a pin drop, but for the most part on weekends, there is a lot of action on horse betting.

I didn't want to start a new thread to just ask this one question, but do folks have an opinion on the best Vegas sportsbook for horseplayers?
