years ago i was "stung" by the autotote person(who later stung the track fora half million plus) or the people in the betting office. It was a prince of Wales day at Fort Erie and my favorite teller tipped me the next day that she thought she had punched the wrong $50 win ticket and had punched the winner a 60 dollar horse.

filed a claim for the lost ticket, which did exist and was a winner, but it was mysteriously cashed on the last day before i was to be paid.

i was told this is not an unusual happening. as those in the know can just print up the uncashed tickets and then punch in the codes.

no flipper is gonna sit on a $700 ticket until the last day before lost tickets get paided off

lost tickets are different in most states from uncashed tickets which are forfieted to state/province as to the amount of time for a claim
