I would put Einstein toward the top of my list. Crimson Comic faced Big Brown in his Maiden Race. He was highly touted back then.

Beating a highly touted maiden, who has done nothing, shouldn't have anything to do with this discussion.

I would probably put Asiatic Boy ahead of just about anyone Big Brown beat at this time.

I thought you might say that..my understanding is that it involves US/North American based horses, not where they run. Curlin's race in Dubai counts as much as BB' in the US.

Anyone who knows differently, please correct me.
