Doesn't seem to suit his running style as he going to get into the bit eariler than usual and these won't come back to him as readily. Fire Striker and the ever second Greycliff Exchange are great under plays and I'm probably going to be banging my head against the wall for leaving my man Bernie Rhone off my ticket. |

I think there is gonna be a few in there keeping each other company on the front end. I could be wrong, but this horse just jumps out at me. |

Race 7
5 - Onotheregostokyo - Turns back to his favorite distance. 6 - Silver Mountain - Returns to scene and distance of his maiden breaker. 8 - Chimchar - A wise man once told me, don't be afraid to play the fastest dirt horse first time on turf. Race 8 - Damn near hit the all button here. 3 - Wynn Wynn Deal - T. Wynn breeds them to win early and sell. 36n4 breeze points this one out. Dam's babies 1 for 3 first out. 4 - Cotswold Hills - Ritchey 16% with firsters. Works decent. 5 - Erotick Image - Been working on the farm so nothing to go by there. Dam's babies 2 for 5 at first asking..... 7 - Repenter - See RBE's comments. 8 - On Deck - Wary of the Del figs, but.... $105k yearling looks to have some talent and lures Rosemary. 10 - Wentworth - Nice string of works, looks ready. 11 - Rum Customer - See RBE's comments. Race 9 4 - Dee's Rose - Working like a winner for D. Bennett 8 - Bamboo - I'll leave Joan Scott off a ticket as soon as she loses a race. Race 10 6 - Gallant Bid - Improving filly doesn't need to improve to take this one. A single on smaller tix. 10 - Wynn for Mary - Drops in from MSW even try on opening day. Gets lasix and a major jock improvement. Ready to fire her best shot with two nice (for MCL 25k sorts) works since her last. 5,6,8/3,4,5,7,8,10,11/4,8/6,10 = $84 Smaller ticket: 5,6,8/3,4,5,7,8,9,10,11/4,8/6 = $48 GL Last edited by Bigsmc : 12-31-2008 at 05:58 AM. |

The 10 La Faye would have been a whale of a claim for 12.5. She'll go 6F next out in MSW if they still have her.

FWIW, that Pyriteville ran a huge race on the sheets three back. If she runs back, she crushes 'em. I'm staying away from that race though, since I could justify going five different ways in a six-horse field. I do like Wynn's horse in the finale though with Sadiesday and Gallant Bid.
Couple of small wagers to finish the year: R6: $6 Pick 3 8 / 7 / 8 $3 Pick 3 8 / 7 / 3,7 $1 Pick 3 2,6 / 7 / 3,7,8 |
