at one time texas and alabama had state laws against agents contacting "student athletes" (not sure if the still do). if this happened in NOLa nothing can be done under state laws.

![]() Personally I think that a player should have the right to hire an agent whenever they want. Why should they not have someone working on their behalf? The NCAA is a joke of an organaztion. These retards dont even have the sense to control their own members football "playoff" system. While many agents are bad guys, some of the advice these players get from their cronies, family, friends is worse.

![]() a buddy of mine in Tuscaloosa passed this along to me today.
"From the bits and pieces I have gathered some have told me that Andre didn't do anything but a family member, possibly his uncle or his dad, took out an insurance policy on Andre through an agent before the Bowl game. Another agent who wanted Andre turned them in. I'm not going to say this is etched in stone."
