It takes energy to compress air.
And the compressed air it would take to run
a car, I imagine it would have to be very high
pressure. So you will use lots of energy.
Get in a wreck and watch the shrapnel air tank
go boom. Not enough info. but interesting.

imo natural gas is a very viable alternative.
It burns very clean. The problem is distribution.
Just dont have the infrastructure set up for this
yet. I guess you might be able to load up at your
house since most neighborhoods in the US have
natural gas pipelines close. But then when your
house blows up because you forgot to turn the
spigot off...

As long as gas continues to be easy (cost and convenience)

Can use the natural gas(and coal) in energy plants. Then use that electric energy to power cars. FK GAS FROM OIL. That's been nothing but a buffet for rich oil companies. Now that we are getting rid of these oil people in the White House, we can do something for somebody other than big oil. My next car is not gunna make rich oil companies n' scum Muslims rich. Gas from oil is not cheap. Islam is not interested in religious freedom whatsoever. Time to get off oil. If there is one thing OBA can do it's get us on that road. The reason we haven't tried natural gas enough etc. is our government hasn't been interested(because they've been bought off by big oil.) When you have a few companies making 10 bil a quarter(each) off oil, it's not gunna be easy to get your government to be interested in switching cars to other energy sources. Bush had no interest in it. Kept saying got to get off oil, and did as little as he could to help people do it. He didn't give his party any shot to win in 2008. Oil people use the words "tomorrow" and "future" a lot, because they want to put off the switch (away from oil) as long as possible. Should give these Detroit auto companies bail outs to make cars that run on anything but oil. That's the only way they should get any money. No more gas cars. Obama can be a hero(and get us switched over,) or he can let big oil keep rip'n the country off. The Japanese have traditionally been good copiers. The fact we have them leading the way on this is pathetic.
