Yes sir.

I'm afraid this one won't be as memorable as some past, but it is still The Game.

Great stuff,Mr.Fires.

But as you know....nothing matters. There is no assured winner this year as there has not been every year before it.

And there is no other game like it...not in the SEC.....not in the B12....not in the PAC12.....not even on the high school lawns.

For this is....THE GAME.

You may not be my friend this week.

Oh yes, that is all true.

But for now, let us remember two of the men most responsible for the greatness of this rivalry.

Again..superior posting, Mr. Fires.

And you are so right.

I really think the 2006 game, with the 2 ranked 1,2 for the first time in history for..THE GAME... and Bo dying just one day before it(making it so much more than it already was)....and for the great game it was---that may be as good as it ever gets.

Yes, that was incredible. I don't think I've ever anticipated a sporty event so much.

(Unless you count the Hossy/hrfan "contest" as a sporty event.)

Don't worry, it wasn't nearly as exciting as the full tilt scratch-off. In fact, parts of it had me wishing I was married to Ethel so I could just end it already.

That's what I thought I heard too. But now I'm seeing 19 or 19.5. Maybe hrfan made a big bet on the Vulvarenes.

lol

It was the type of quality entertainment that only NT can provide. I just wish you would've played against Phil. I can't believe that Moss jersey and those jean shorts have been hung up for good. lol

Go ahead chump---all your dysinformation won't change what is recognized by fans and Congress as the greatest rivalry of any sport.

Since this is ,after all, the SEC thread...I will be posting propoganda'ed material favoring Ohio State this week.

Mr. Fires---my sincere apologies.

I would like to mention the 2 highest rated tv audiences this year were for the OhioState/ICU game and the OhioState/StatePenn game. Our haters love us.The StatePenn game was the 7th highest of all time.

And now ...join me ,won't you?, watching Cie Grant ( the lb who biltzed off the edge in the '02 nc game on Miami's last play) sing in this last meeting of the seniors on that team:

This one...I won't ever forget. My heart was in my throat at that last split second.

In fact I believe all of my internal organs were there. Thank God for Will Allen:
