Joel,
If you wanna suck up to Arabs be my guest. My best guess would be that waxing poetic about them on a message board wouldn't be quite the best way to go about it though. Perhaps actually achieving something within the industry would, say like, buying a grade one winner. Wake me up when you get around to doing something of that magnitude. As far as this thing with johnny goes, when I criticize a rider I criticize the ride itself. Dunbar is such a pathetic moron that he took the time to find teh prices of his losing mounts yet couldn't find one that was a bad ride. And isn't that the point? Bernadini is the best three year old I ever saw as of today, no doubt about it. Gomez is in one his hot streaks the last week, making all the right moves and I really haven't seen him butcher one this week even in his losing efforts(you see Dunbar, if you wanna criticize a rider you have to cite a specific ride, something you were unable to do. |

Dont try to weasel out of it you spineless little punk. No one said anything about JV doing anything wrong. It was merely pointed out that you were WRONG and too much of a chump to admit it. Now run along little man. Indeed, you are a very little man. |

No terrorist sympathizer, you are. No I wanna get this out in the open right now. And don't say it doesn't matter because it DOES matter. Are you or are you not sympathetic to the plight and cause of those who are attempting to hurt the United States? I want nothing to do with consorting with someone like you. |

You still didn't answer my question, Oracle....why do you like Johnny V. so much? He is not an American, so why support him?

Big day from the Dubai group finally.
Credit to their runners. They hold a tough hand, and all we missed was Dettori jumping off their winners. As for the Sheiks donating a small sum after big wins last year, that $$ hardly resembles the bribe $$ passed on to Al Qaeda and other Muslim extremists bent on destructuction and murder of anyone/anything American. These shieks are as dirty as it gets, and Prince Ahmed Salman was probably the worst. These guys are playing both sides of the fence, and in the horse(or political) biz, there are always plenty of palms out-stretched to grab the $$$ regardless of from whom it comes. Nothing against the horses, but I hope these Arabs get skunked for the rest of the year, especially BC day. As for Johnny V--I don't know him. He surely doesn't appear to be the same smart rider he was two years ago, even while being Pletcher's top call. Maybe the NY vets are watching Mr.T a little closer this year! |
