How many times are people going to believe it ?

Congress was talking about allowing offshore oil drilling before the election then they kinda let it go by the wayside when they thought they would win.

They were talking about a 2nd stimilus package before the election now it also seems to be on hold.

If anyone really voted on the basis that they might get a 1.2% tax cut under Obama instead of a 0.8% tax cut under McCain then they are morons. The whole difference between the tax plans is eliminating Bush's tax cut for the wealthy which will get a lot more money towards reducing the deficit. As long as that happens I couldn't care less what happens to my taxes.

Where I will be pissed off is if Obama spends irresponsibly. I'm expecting him to bring in more tax money while reducing spending. I know the conservatives are convinced he's going to tax and spend and while I want to see the spending shifted around, I don't want to see it increase.
