Why in the world wouldn't Hard Spun make a terrific sire other then having bad luck. That colt was flat out fast and extremely good at two.

Just at 2?? He was 2nd in the Derby and Classic at 3!! I'd call that extremely good as well. He had speed and the ability to last up to 10 furlongs.
