Which of the following is preferable:

Option A - Feds listen to conversations when automated machinery picks up words and phrases like "Bomb" and "Death to USA", an analyst hangs up when you start reading your grocery list, but occasionally we find and interdict terrorist attacks BEFORE they occur.

or

Option B - Feds listen to nothing, even the overt planning of the next 9/11-like attack, and we lose tens or hundreds of thousands of Americans. And, last time I checked, getting killed by an enemy of the country classifies as a violation of the victim's rights.
