![]() Raising the min wage will help sustain low-income families and make America a tiny bit fairer for all...certainly won't be popular among the wealthy and the right. We can argue economic theory all day, I see this as a philosophical issue...either one believes that everyone deserves a decent life or they choose to drink the right-wing Koolade. I agree that education is vital but nothing will ever change on this planet until the "haves" understand that the "have nots" are indeed their brothers and sisters and really care about the basic constructs of fairness/brotherhood/equality...won't happen in my lifetime, perhaps in my next incarnation...or the one after that...or the next.

![]() i believe it has already been raised, and will go up again next year. problem is, the national min wage isn't really fair-it should be based on area-i doubt someone in l.a. can survive on the same wage as someone here in arkansas.
