Show the way by keeping your horses till they are 5 and then your opinion will count. Until then us people who deal in the reality of actually owning and paying for horses will do what we want with our property. I am actually a member of the Thoroughbred Owners of California. In my experience, we have ran our horses till they are 4 or 5. Not a large sample of horses owned, and none were superstars of any matter.

I hope that makes my points more concrete or valid for you.
