I'm not sure how well he'll run in the Jim Dandy ... I don't like "spaced" races and "fresh" horses ... but I do have faith in Tom Albertrani ... who is another bold Brooklynite.

So ... hands off Bernardini ... he's mine unless you can prove otherwise.

Thats funny because Steve Haskin and I were arguing about the same thing Derby week when Bernardini waltzed in the Withers....we both knew he would win the Preakness or be a game second to Barbaro if Barbaro fired his best shot.....I have thought this colt was the goods since his maiden win and the Withers only reaffirmed it because I KNEW with his pedigree and stride that he would be better aroud two turns....I put my money where my mouth was and was rewarded with a $14,000+ payday in the Preakness after hitting all exotics across the board....Congrats on your early find, Brooklyn - but I must break it to you that you weren't the only one on board at a VERY early stage....I LOVE this horse...perhaps more than any other horse I have ever seen or followed....
