I give a ton of credit to the Red Sox fan's locally, they have always supported their team - and while I surely cannot understand why you would root against the city you live in, they are if nothing else, loyal.

On the complete other hand, I am really looking forward to "Philly Fan" coming out of the woodwork down here. They hold spring training in Clearwater, and once that last bus heads back north in late March, so goes every single solitary fan of that team. You never see Phillies ball caps, tees, etc. down here after spring training, only enough of the typical tired old Yankee, Red Sox, and Cub crap to sink a ship.

Hell, I see more Blue Jays gear displayed than Phillies gear. They bearly stock Philly hats at Lidz or Hat World at the mall, maybe one or two different ones... You would think that the local front runners would at least have those annoying car flags or something....Nope. They do not exist here in Tampa, that is until Wednesday when every douche that ever lived within 200 miles of the dump will all of a sudden claim to be a die hard fan. lol

So did I... growing up, 18 years in Jersey outside of Philly. I have no allegiance to some team just because I lived in or near their city at one point in my life. I find the notion of "being stuck" rooting for a team kinda laughable in that regard.

When I lived in DC I rooted for the Orioles (pre - Nats), when I lived in Pittsburgh I rooted for the Pirates. Now I happily live in Tampa Bay, have been rooting for the Rays since I got here (and that has been no small feat ) and look forward to an exciting Series. Good luck to you!

Thank you!! Yeah I grew up a diehard Philly sports fan. Was brainwashed from my Father at a very early age. I just cant go for any team besides the Eagles, Phillies and Sixers. I'm not that into hockey.

I'd cheer for the Rays if it wasnt the Phillies they are playing! Good luck to you also!

So are stalkers. Someone needs to come up with a spray to repel these people. Some fast-working "RED SOX NATION REPELLANT." Same for the Cub Nation. Every stray seems to pick one of them.
