All I know as a Red Sox fan Game 7 of the Mets-Sox Series was a forgone conclusion.....let's see if the Rays feel the noose tighten abit. This has to hurt to lose a game you had 7-0 with 2 out that ends up 8-7 without extra innings. This one has to leave a mark.... |

I'd agree with the notion that this loss is going to hang over the heads of the Rays if they were a bunch of veterans whose window of opportunity was closing. These guys, however, are young and don't seem to give a crap about the last pitch, let alone the last game. If the Red Sox win the next two games, it'll be because they play better, not because the Rays are "devastated," IMO. |
