im sitting on around 94k.... blind are 1k-2k.... 29 players left, i get delt q 10 hearts..... no one raises, 4 in the pot. it comes king jack hears, 2 spades. i have a open ended royal flush draw.... this lady bets out 6k the other 2 fold, i raise 25k, she goes all in for 60k, i call.....she has a k, turn is a queen. now im drawing to a queen, ten, ace, nine or any heart.... river is a 3 spades.... that hand crippled me, put me to under 30. with high blinds and antees |

Dude, the other day I was playing with some buddies and the strangest thing happened. I was the big blind and was dealt 9h-6c. The guy on the button raised 4x the big blind. I looked at my cards, saw the 9-6, and folded because it didn't seem like a very good hand. It turns out the guy that raised had pocket jacks, so I'm really glad I folded. Isn't that a cool story? I'll probably be posting more fascinating stories like this in the days to come, but I might save the real juicy ones like this for the poker blog I'm thinking about starting. |

![]() ended up getting blinded out in 108th out of 1187. that's the most ever to play in a WSOP circuit event. didn't get any cards at all the last 4 hours.
not horrible for 1st time playing in a WSOP sanctioned event. |
