Nice to see Hawthorne getting a nice horse to come out for the Derby although they usually get one top 3yo turf horse a year to come in and run...then the rest of the field is usually pretty suspect. Cool Conductor and Gun Salute come to mind as being top horses in the 3yo division at the time and running in the Hawthorne Derby and winning it.
