That is also why I think the figures were set too him for him and as a result too high for the other horses in that race. If you are saying he could have run 2-4 seconds faster that is like 18 to 36 Beyer points faster meaning you think he could have run a 132 to 150 Beyer. Now that is freaking crazy. I think Hesanoldsalt would have probably run second in the Dandy or at least been right there with them.

Sure any horse could get up for 2nd in the Dandy. He might have been. And yes I think Bernardini could have run 2 seconds faster. The horse galloped the entire way.

2 seconds faster ? i think that is nutso. maybe 1 second, 5 lengths, but not 2sec. everybody will be goin Bern/all so that doesn't look good.
