I think it will be Bernardini and then the rest. I don't think any of the rest matter so put all and all in the other spots. They are so evenly matched once u get past Bernardini.

THat is your list? You have got to be kidding. You are leaving out Cigar and Silverbulletday was much better than Go For Wand and Point Given was much better than Smarty Jones. Good lord man. And you are fogetting Ladys Secret. She raced a few times in 1986 and 87.

I am seriously excited to see this match up. Will it even be a match up w/Bernardini running away with it or maybe BGC running away with it? I am kinda excited about a new late developing 3 yr old coming into their own. OH THIS IS GOING TO BE A FUN RACE TO WATCH.

I like High Cotton and Hesanoldsalt. (Not to win, but to be improving and getting into the mix)

I am not too excited about Hesanoldsalt. His last race on the 29th wasnt all that great. I have no clue what happened to Corinthian in that race, but Hesanoldsalt is not very good.

What exactly did you want out of him? He only won the race in a faster time than Bernardini on the same day. I know the track was good when he ran and sloppy (although sealed) when Bernardini ran but at the same time it was pouring during Salt's race and not during the Dandy. I'm not suggesting Hesanoldsalt would have beat Bernardini but I do think he got shafted by the split variant and would have been right there for second had he gone in the Dandy.

I was at the track that day and have watched the replays. I do agree that Bernardini could have gone faster. That is also why I think the figures were set too him for him and as a result too high for the other horses in that race. If you are saying he could have run 2-4 seconds faster that is like 18 to 36 Beyer points faster meaning you think he could have run a 132 to 150 Beyer. Now that is freaking crazy. I think Hesanoldsalt would have probably run second in the Dandy or at least been right there with them.

Silverbulletday in her best dreams couldn't run a 1:21 for 7f and then come back nine days later and run a 2:00 4/5 for 10f. Both in grade one company. Silverbulletday couldn't have come back a little while later and run a 1:45 4/5 for 9f. Go for Wand did those things. Then come back to run nose and nose with the great Bayakoa in the BC. Come on now. But anyway, I didn't forget any of them. I just didn't think they were better than the ones I listed. No point in arguing it though as it's purely subjective. All of the horse u mentioned, plus plenty more, were really good horses. I could have easily listed Candy Ride, Ghostzapper, Arazi, Personal Ensign, Alysheba, Easy Goer, Sunday Silence, Paseana, and others. But the five I listed were the five best in my opinion.

Aly Euro is either a complete idiot or just saying stupid things to try and get a rise. Anyone who would compare SBD to GFW is a moron. And saying that bern could have gone even 5 lengths faster is moronic as well.

I am saying stupid things obviously. I used to like best horse list but I have really grown to hate them. How can you say one horse was better than another without either of them facing each other. The comparison I dislike the most is the Holy Bull v Cigar debate. People say well Cigar beat Holy Bull--well yeah when Holy Bull broke down. Just iritates me is all.
