I don't like anything about the REDSOX(except their chances of taking it all.) I know the Dodgers aren't gunna be able to close games if Saito isn't 100%. Broxton got bailed out with a low strike call, but I know that guy too well. A good team will get to him late in games. Edmonds had him, and who knows how that ball stayed in. He makes mistakes, and doesn't use his best pitch(98mph heat) enough at all. I know he is gunna give it up in any close games in the post. I wish when the Red Sox get somebody out on the warning track in an opponent's ballpark, that the place wouldn't sound like a damn home game for them. That gets old very quickly. What fkn stray cat hasn't latched on to them or the Cubs? This ain't Euro Soccer. Wait until the fkn team plays in their own park.

I hate the fact that the Sox have become America's Team over the last few years because of their success but it's not like you get to pick the fans that support you just like you don't get to select who hates you. I have way too much history (close to 50 years) of heartache with this team to count any victory until it actually happens. See Games 6 and 7 of the 1986 series, Games 7 of the 1975 series to name a few. I know what you mean about the unfair road advantage but it's a tough thing to apologize for. So far the Angels haven't been able to play their game with an early lead and a running game that stems from opportunity.....Beckett may not win tomorrow but Lester is 11-1 at home which should get it done.

LOL..I don't think it's an unfair road advantage. It's just irritating. I guess I just never had a inclination to go to somebody else's ballpark to cheer like that. Just like to go when they are at their home ballpark. Seems low class to me, but I guess not to a lot of people.

Scuds what is happening with the Red Sox is unique to most teams in baseball. Because Fenway is so small fans are used to the notion that they cannot get tickets to see them in Boston so in repsonse people started to travel in droves to see them on the road. I live just outside Baltimore and on most nights there is definitely more Red Sox fans at Camden than O's fans. This is worse in recent years because the Orioles suck and have for a decade or so.

The cheering for the Red Sox is , like the Yankees and Dallas in football, because these teams "travel well" or fill the park with Boston fans. They are a national team but in part because you cannot get a nonscalped ticket in Boston. I believe they just set a record for consecutive sellouts to prove my point.
