TB/PHI NFC Championship, Last football game at the Vet(and last sporting event attended with my late friend Cory). He's about 5 rows from us, headed our way, when out of nowhere, some HUGE dude jumps into teh aisle and straight punches this guy in the mug, sending food and drink everywhere. He then unloads a few shots on him when he's on the ground, saying "F da Bucs, F da Bucs". The guy that got mollywhopped gets up all bloodied and starts screaming "Its a phuckin Marlboro jacket, its a marlboro jacket WTF". ..The boo's start flying, the whole section is in an outrage to get JUICE head booted from the game. Finally, the food starts flying, he packs up his things (his wife) and hightails it out of there. Pure knucklehead, but it made for a funny story after the fact, knowing it was 2 Philly fans.

A week later Im listening to 610 WIP (local sports radio) and I hear a familiar voice telling the same exact story. Here, it turns out it was a buddy from school's dad who was mistaken as the Bucs fan, they had seats in the last row of the nosebleeds.

Cory and I always talked about that being one of the crazier moments we've ever shared, and it will forever hold a place in my heart.

now that is funny

I hate not having a pro sports team to root for around here

My boss is from Philly and he told me a story about how the Eagles fans beat up that old man that dresses up as the Redskins indian. He said they got him in the parking lot, beat him to a pulp and then stripped him naked. The guy ended up in the hospital.

I've never heard anyone refer to us as Classy. IF you root for an opposing team, stay away from Philly. I our fans. Best sports fans in the world & DONT mess with us!

Not much of a pigeonhole at all, huh? In this case, Eagleholing.

Out of the TENS OF THOUSANDS of fans, we're talking about less than 100 dimwits that do stuff like that. I saw a fight when I was at Shea 2 years ago, when some Metsie fan pushed a little girl out of the way and to the ground. Now, what could be said about that??? There are idiots everywhere they serve alcohol in the world, not just here.

Maybe Sniper wanted to keep up wtih his beloved Mets and choke, I mean joke! Paging DR. Henry Jay Heimlich!!! Paging Dr. Henry Jay Heimlich!!!

Now THAT is funny...

C.C. struggling (4th start in a row on 3 days rest, starting to catch up) and getting squeezed. He had Myers struck out on that 1-2 slider. Not a good sign for the Brew Crew when the bullpen is stirring in the 2nd.
