i just saw that... amazing! out of curiosity, I checked the ESPN family of networks programming for Saturday, and instead of showing racing on, say ESPN Classic, they're showing re-runs of car shows from LA and NYC... One would think that they could show LIVE racing from LA and NYC, but no...

I think that would require something called work and who wants to do that now a days. Honestly they really dont have to send people or trucks out there. I think we would be satisifed with an inturuption from the car show to show a live race and maybe a little commentary from the studio like they do with boxing. Who really wants to struggle through another Hank Goldberg commentary anyways.

that makes way too much sense for the folks at ESPN... maybe they could have Lou Holtz give a pep talk to Curlin.

If that would happen, Curlin would end up on suspension just like at all the schools where Lou coached!
