I think when this simmers in the average guy's stomach a while, they are gunna realize this is all about simple greed. Why should innocent American's have to pay for the greed of the people in these huge companies? Go track some of this money down that was made in these bad loans. They've distributed a bunch of money to employees etc., and now they run and hide. Go find it. Where is the interest in finding out where the money went? All they care about is bailing them out after they took bad risks to make quick money. You want smaller gov't? Yea, my a-s-s you do. The party that appears less supportive of greed is gunna win this election. They both will try to appear that way. The one that people think is most interested in tackling greed (because this is about American Greed) is the one who will win the close states. The companies are international(you see other countries bailing them out?,) but the bad loans made here were overlooked due to tolerance of greed by Americans. We can blame ourselves for allowing politicians on both sides to let big business run wild with greed. These same politicians are running to bail them out. All this bail out is gunna do is delay the pain. Eventually the price has to be paid for allowing these big companies to go wild with greed(and later then fall back on the American taxpayer to socialize their losses.) These companies cry bloody murder whenever asked for any of the profit, but know they can get a bail out if they go belly up. Where are those that want smaller gov't? Where are you now? We damn sure better try to regulate greed.

.....bankruptcy is the grand do-over in business.....same family as bailouts, except bailouts don't seem to have the same penalty for the bailers!

Great observation,Dimmy.

Your sightings are like using an oil lamp for an ICBM early warning system.

Tim says it's 4:20, though my clock says otherwise. I'm right on it. I'll have to run up to the computer store and buy one of those new hardware add-ons, the one that lets you blow smoke thru the computer to someone on the other end. Instead of an e-mail, I think it's called a doobie mail

Proud to be a freak when typing to the only ink blot to have escaped Dr.Freud's crinkle-trash can and doesn't know the 4 things out of place in it.
