No disrespect, but your theory is incorrect. It doesn't work that way.

Not that it matters as I agree with your other point. Talking about how severe the penalty was, etc., after the fact -- pointless. Don't show everyone that you don't have a clue. You stepped up, took your medicine like a man. Don't be an after dinner speaker about it now.

After reading the article, I got the impression that Rose did accept and more or less agree with his punishment. Maybe his agent was griping, but Rose wasn't.
