What stands out to me is that he still hasn't got a clue, and neither does his agent. Both of them seem to be saying that, if this had happened in the past or at a smaller track, it would have been no big deal. Sorry, it's still a big deal to me (and I think PETA is a bunch of nut-cases, ![]() |

We have lots of horse lovers and animal lovers here, including me. But, I thought at the time there was some disagreement as to how blatant and intentional his striking actually was? |

![]() watch the replay, there is NOTHING to dispute. He did exactly what he was accused of, and from the tone of the article, it i obvious he hasn't learned a thing.

![]() Is the author of this article getting the horses name or sex wrong? The only Appeal to the City on pedigree query was a male. Does anyone have an update on the horse?
Thanks |

Not that it matters as I agree with your other point. Talking about how severe the penalty was, etc., after the fact -- pointless. Don't show everyone that you don't have a clue. You stepped up, took your medicine like a man. Don't be an after dinner speaker about it now. Eric |

![]() After reading the article, I got the impression that Rose did accept and more or less agree with his punishment. Maybe his agent was griping, but Rose wasn't.
