Hope he stays in there until they are certain there's no spread of the infection.

This is like a scene from "Fight Club"...

Removing the gall bladder is a pretty cool surgery to watch. I hear that is can be cumbersome after the surgery when you eat. Since your body cannot produce bile anymore, one may get diarrhea right after eating. Can be a real pain in the butt--no pun attended. Scavs will be fine. He will just have to watch his diet after this. I wish him well and I hope he likes beats.

He will most certainly get a grease release.
No more meals with big scoops of lard.

I too like some others missed this.... Speedy recovery wishes from the Deep South... But if he could make it to Keeneland ... He should be able to peruse the forms/figs by this weekend to be able to enlighten and amuse us; as well as, bestow other lines of wit and wisdom upon us. It definitely ain't the same without you.... however it was kinda neat to see some people actually try to be pleasant....lol... again.... get better soon pal

It was the less invasive procedure that DocICU described and he may go home tomorrow or Thursday.

Will look to post pics of bladder as soon as I can in Esoteric

You know your getting better when you push the button for the nurse around midnight and say " I'm lonely "

Well..if your avatar showed up at bedside it might...not sure if he's out or not, but he had a tough afternoon..Nothing serious, but he's ready to go and his body isn't.

Just an update as Bob has already mentioned all the well wishes, I can't wait to read them.

I have been discharged and I am home, hopefully about to get about 15 hours of sleep as I didn't get one red minute of sleep in the hospital.

While this was my first appearance at a hospital ever, lets hope that it is my last.

I just wanted to thank everyone for their well wishes, it is greatly appreciated.

FYI, if anyone is trying to call me, the hospital lost my cell phone, my IPOD and my favorite belt.

Good to hear your home kid, even if it comes at the expense of your phone, ipod, and the fave belt. At least they didnt get the chance to give you a 'wallet biopsy'.

In all seriousness, glad to hear all is well enough for you to be comfortable back in your own domain.
