Default Is Tiger a more dynamic athlete than Jordan?

...I think he is certainly making his case for the best athlete to ever walk this planet - and a strong case at that....Wow...what a freak of nature....his win at Medina today in the PGA Championship wasn't even fair.....

it was...but I'm a Jordan guy myself, I consider golf more of a skill, almost like darts, rather than an actual sport with athletes involved

Well,I know that most great athletes have tried to play Basketball.I don't think the same is true for Golf. So,I think Tiger doesn't have to beat as many of the the same type of athletes as Jordon did.

Not sure if you guys notice this or not, but they were showing 99 Medina and did you see the difference in Tigers build? He is **** diesel compared to what he was back then. Guys on the tour are all working out, cept maybe fat Phill, lol. Tiger will **** on Jack's 18 before it's over. He is re-writing history. 1st to win multiple majors 2 years in a row. I can't say enough about the guy. You may have to say he's the best at his trade ever. MJ was a juggernaut in his time BTW. I loved to watch him play.

Lol

Didn't that 16-year-old chick (Wie) make the cut in men's event?

That's like Maria Sharapova making it to the 4th round on the men's side of the Australian Open.

Yeah, those golfers are some athletes.....lol

Man, this board is getting as poluted by haters as ESPN...I expect mindless crap from Coach, Seattle and a few others but man...if my memory is correct, doesn't MJ play golf (and quite well I might add), Charles Barkley, Strahan, actually most big-name athletes seem to enjoy golf...but none win tourneys against the pros. Comparing Wie...well, she is an absolute freak, I doubt MJ could out drive her! Of course Golf is a sport, it takes a tremendous amount of skill to even hit a golf ball in the right direction, and putting...!!! Regarding the original question...I think Tiger has made a bigger impact on kids than even MJ, he's introduced a whole new world to millions of them especially inner city minority kids. MJ was the most exciting, dynamic athlete ever imo...so, no, MJ was more dynamic, but Tiger will have a bigger sociological impact!

Totally agree. We wont see dominance like this in any sport again. We wont live long enough. It is incredible to me that in a sport like Golf that is going to automatically produce some very bad breaks no matter how well you hit the ball can be overcome by a guy that is just so far ahead physically and mentally.. its amazing. It should be much more likely to happen in a team sport or some other sport where bad breaks dont play such a big role.

And he says he still has a lot to learn and is getting better at not forcing the issue and just playing the course. He is never satisfied. Closest thing to a God I have ever seen.

How people forget Bo Jackson! I know, he didn't last long enough. But the guy was a great athlete.

Don't be knocking Fasano. He worked very hard to be where he is. His career could had been over a few years ago. "Coaching? I'm not 40 yet"

I seen Tony Sirugusa at White Castle in Indianapolis several years back when I lived their. It was right after last call, imagine that. Tony was sitting in front of, in my best estimation, 25-30 sliders, some onion rings, the man was slammin em' down. Dude can eat.

Dusty Rhodes is my favorite wrestler. Those were the days. I can't stand wrestling today. Give me the Iron Shiek, Ric Flair, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Andre The Giant, shoot I could talk for hours.

Kev we actually partly agree on something. Bo Jackson is the true definition of an athlete. I'll tell ya somebody I have always thought of as well as a well rounded athlete, those hot dog eating contests people as well as your spelling bee champions, yahtzee and poker players.

that's ridiculos calling pro wrestling a sport when the outcome is already arranged, I don't care if they are in great shape
I'm willing to bet any man
I could throw a football( professional weight and size)
a farther distance than Michelle Wie
and I am willing to wager I could out box Dusty Rhodes
and Somerfrost I challenge you to arm-wresting
if he likes wresting so much
and I will beat any man or woman at horse show tossing
