I would say that it's a safe bet now that Lava Man is the real deal.

and it was shugs first horse at del mar. just heard that again leading up to the race.

Wow what a horse. Great race.
As fas HOY goes, he has to venture East and meet real horses and leave the cozy confines of Cali. Good Reward is umm, just ok, to say the least back here in the East and he was 2nd. Lava is a really neat horse to watch, but beating Good Reward(LOL!!!) doesnt exactly make me wanna make a future bet on him in the BCC.
