I sure hate to hear it when such sad and bad things happen to these horses, but I do believe we should all take note when it happens.

I'm not being a "bleeding heart" at all, but I'm pretty much all for anything that would make this sport and love any safer for our athletes and performers.

I've followed this sport for a long long time with mostly great enjoyment and sometimes unexpected sorrow.

I'm not stopping.

Cashing tickets totally aside, I just want as high of a percentage of great enjoyment as we can all get.
