No, I just know what they believe, and I am never gunna vote for anybody that believes in treating women like farm animals. That's the way their prophet said to treat their women. They are free to follow that religion, but I won't ever vote for anyone that follows that religion.

i thought only the more radical muslims were into that garbage. you know, kind of like the guys around here who quote bible verse to explain why women can't run anything...teach bible school, etc.
some guy wrote a letter to the paper not long ago bashing women for 'wearing mens clothing, and makeup-they look like a bunch of jezebels'. i always picture said writer chewing on a big old plug of red man when they're talking.

No, pretty much the TURKISH MUSLIMS would be the so called "moderate Muslims," and they rap their women up in headgear. Can't be too pretty. They almost got kicked out of the presidency by their supreme court, because they couldn't resist fiddling around with a law about this headgear for women.

Tabari IX:113 "Allah permits you to shut them in separate rooms and to beat them, but not severely. If they abstain, they have the right to food and clothing. Treat women well for they are like domestic animals and they possess nothing themselves. Allah has made the enjoyment of their bodies lawful in his Qur'an."

Sorry, but I am not going to have anything to do with someone who follows the teachings of the guy who said this. Not gunna happen.

McCain/Palin make a big move in the polls. they now lead Obama/Biden 54%/44% amongst likely voters according to USA/Gallop.

In a related story, MSNBC just went to Def Con 4.

many on here might not realize that Obama beat Keyes for his senate seat. what a joke that race was. Keyes was brought in from Washington to pinch-hit and never heard from since.

Kansas went from being 60% McCain to 70% McCain. Oklahoma is now probably pushing 75% McCaine. If you have polls about Ohio, Colorado, Nevada, Virginia, New Hampshire, then that would be important.

Actually, in the poll of polls, Obama still leads...as if it matters to the Bush idiots.
