you seem to be real impressed by that "President of Harvard Law Review" thing. for me when assessing presidential qualifications, that ranks just barely above chairman of the Russian Communist Party. he seldom leads with that. in fact his executive experience argument from a couple days back was that he has run his presidential campaign, which isn't even true.

In comparison to a brodcasting degree from the University of Idaho?

Alumni of the Harvard Law Review include five supreme court justices, four secreatary of states, as well as the current leader of the department of homeland security.

Prior to Lynn Spears Palin - I believe the most famous alumni to ever come out of the University of Idaho was that cloned mule that won his debut in a mule race at the Stockton fair.

John McCain has no executive experience either. I don't think it will be a problem for either one of those two in the least. Obviously.

LOL...Since you brought up livestock, I do think most of the rest of the world thinks she's a low-class Cowgirl. I wish they had 2 on 2 debates. I'd love to see this Obama and her go at it. Pushed to the limit, she would call him something that is acceptable to say back home, but not acceptable in about 45 of the states she wants to represent. She pretty much set this up as big city versus small town country people, and that's the continued theme tonight(with white hillbilly women from Tennessee and Oklahoma talking like they are ready to race each other in covered wagons.) She is the best comedy since the early Cheech n' Chong stuff. Believe me, I don't wish he had picked someone else. This country girl trainwreck is gunna keep on entertaining. Now another Hillbilly(Lyndsey Graham from South Carolina.)

She should provide good anchorage for McCain.I think it's good he got an un-nome.

If he doesn't know anything he can just say.."Hmmm..I think al aska ."

I think she's got a real pipeline into the oil situation. Her 2nd in command up there ,Esky Mo,told her not to have any aleutians about the state going to pot because it would be a cold day in hell before that happens.

Are you kid'n me? They just admitted McCain n' his wife both lied to each other about their age? They actually brought that in on their own film? Why would they add that tidbit?

at least John McCain has led american troops....

I was suprised to hear that Obama hasnt even introduced a Bill into the senate.. even the state senate. WTF has he done? Nothing. Rudy was right, only in America can someone with Obama's record (or lack there of) can be one of the two candidates running for president.

It is funny. It just goes to show how meaningless these purported presidential qualifications are that the liberal press throws out at the masses. And some people fall for it

The dumbing down of America. Who was it that coined that phrase, I was reminded of it while watching the RNC last night

yes, so lets tax tax tax the hard working american citizens and give that money to people who take advantage of the system and dont at all deserve it (now dont get me wrong, there are people out there who deserve some help).

The Dems can solve every world problem with more big government programs and spending

What do President's really do in office?

1. They appoint Supreme Court Justices that can be confirmed. To me the single most important thing that a President does and that affects our daily lives. Not sure how being a Senator instead of a Guv makes a difference here.

2) They are at the mercy of Congress. If they have the majority, they get legislation passed and their policies enacted. If not, it's all negotiation on bills, which both a Senator and Gov have equal experience doing.

3) They surround themselves with a strong Cabinet and experienced advisors. I'm not sure at this point, either Senator running for President is lacking in those skills.

4) They are the point person for foreign policy decisions. I think Senators have much more foreign policy experience and, in many cases, direct contact through committees. Governors rarely have to deal in this arena.

5) They are the face of America during a crisis. You can make the case that a Governor may have had more experience dealing with crisises at the State Level, but do you really think O'Bama or McCain would lack in this area, especially compared to Carol Brady?

There must be the perception that Governor's can "govern" better than a Senator because they usually win elections, but whether it's Dem or Repub, the last thing I'm concerned with is that point.
