maybe, the pedigree screams route though.

Evita Argentina did not look like the same horse as she did in her previous 2. I know there was a little bumping at the top of the stretch, but she almost looked like she was hesitant to switch leads.

Another great race. This horse is for real and can't wait to see the next step. Gobbled up those horses!

Palacio Del Amour ran fast fractions and had more to spurt away from the field but Stardom Bound was too fast but PDA ran very very very well for second

I've followed her since her tremendously impressive preview video at the undertack show during OBS March - and talked about her on Steve's show before she debuted at Del Mar. As fun to watch as she is - and as much as I like her - I don't think anything of the competition she has been beating.

I know her figures aren't much either - but figures just don't matter at all when you talk about the perverted form of horse racing that you see take place on synthetic tracks.

It's hard to say exactly how good she is - but she's obviously much better than anything out West.

That big preview at OBS March also came over a synthetic. I don't think she's a very good projection to dirt racing because of her style and how void of tactical speed she is ... but that won't matter until the discussion involves the KY Oaks.

The PERVERSION is in the figures, not in the racing. Synthetic makes just as much 'sense' to some as turf racing.

'not fast enough' is old paradigm stuff.

Any details? I just got home and I'm thrilled, but Cal Racing doesn't have the replay yet. First off, I'm so glad that the filly wasn't hurt after being kicked by the pony - that was lucky. Secondly, it's nice to see that she is not a closing sprinter, which is what I was afraid of

Is anyone else surprised by Tapit's success? I loved him (naturally, as a son of Pulpit), but I didn't think he'd get off to such a good start. He's got a few other good babies besides SB.......

shes looks like a big brahma bull out there. Dominating horse right down the bias of the track. Highlight of the day.

By the way, someone posted on another board that she got an 87.

SB really was impressive despite the so-so Beyer. I love this filly and she was actually doing running at the end; it wasn't just a matter of the fillies in front collapsing. I still have my doubts about how she's going to hold up against once the later-developing fillies start coming out of the woodwork because her running style is more conducive to runner up finishes than to wins. She sure is fun to watch, though.
