Why is Adriano still favored over Wesley? When are people going to realize he's not good on anything but synthetics?

The morning line probably means little but I would try to bet against Wesley at anything less than 4-1. While Deal Making and Adriano were both in trouble in the stretch of the Hall of Fame, the former more than the latter, Wesley had a clear run on the outside. I'm much more inclined to take Deal Making than Wesley. NT

While I haven't looked at the race closely yet, I like the jockey change on Adriano. He, subtly, never got a clear run last out. Edgar off is a HUGE move for me lately. As for Wesley: 2 perfect trips in a row. Oh, and I really dug Durkin's call of the race: "And Adriano is toiling"; as they enter the stretch with Adriano in hand, with no where to go (as the gutless Prado refuses to try to squeeze through a hole). Stick to 'ArrrrrrrrrrrrrLIKE' calls, Tom. Last edited by the_fat_man : 08-28-2008 at 06:57 PM.

This is the ROTW on the TGH site with an excellent discussion for why Deal Making and Mr McCool are very reasonable plays at a price. It doesn't cost you anything but like most sites you need to register.
