post is 5:45 ET

Da'Tara will go to the lead, but Cool Coal Man is a dead closer. He'll be back in the back early. I actually like CCM in here today and I think he's the price horse instead of Tale of Ekati.

Desert Key's the #2 in the 10th (5:10 post)... post 1, but program #2

Col John's a good horse, but is a synthetic specialist.... don't care for him on dirt.

I just double checked and it said Desert Key is in post #1?

If I remember the Derby correctly, I thought CCM broke early to the lead?

I was just responding to the painfully inaccurate statement that Cool Coal Man is a deep closer. . .

Do you know if the post #1 is considered a bad one. I like two horses positioned there today but not sure if that is wise?

The post won't really be a factor for Tale of Ekati. . . may be a bit of a detriment to Desert Key if he's one of the ones you like.

after watching a few races I really don't see the rail having any advantage. I was hoping that Tale of Ekati would have a post position advantage...

I thought he was very well placed in the Ky Derby and had no excuses (for place or show money) I think he should have finished better than 4th with that ride. Don't believe that Edgar is the answer because Coa was not a problem. I will be betting ToE, just not as heavy.

also hope Court Vision finishes ahead of Pyro. Don't like Pyro.

Does anyone like Golden Spikes or Visionaire in the King Bishop?

I kind of like Visionaire.

I don't know why. I think ToE has a huge race still left in him. While he's got some odds, I am going to grab it.

I like Golden Spikes better than Viaionaire, but like the entry better.

only one winner this year came from outside of post six in dirt routes at Saratoga. only a 30 race sample though. strange, the 1 post has won 9 of the races.
