I wonder if this horse is owned by the same people that had
Where's Dad or Who is my daddy or something like that. It was racing in Louisiana and the sire was listed as Unknown. It was the first time I had seen a horse that didn't have the sire listed. I remember that it finally did list a sire but don't remember who they pinned the deed on. Probably Secretatariat I think back in the olden days this happened more often. Maybe not but how in the hell does Mouton not notice the filly is in foal? The foal doesn't look tiny. how can they take the baby away from her so soon? Do they normally take babies away from mommies this quickly?

I doubt that the same people own this horse and the one your referring to..I do remember that filly that your talking about, but I don't remember who that Sire was or what ever became of her..
As far as taking the foal away so soon, they did it so that they can keep the Mom in training plus they felt she was too young..I guess that's a little late now The mare is supposed to resume training again in about a month. Canjuns do things a bit differently sometimes I guess. |
