Forgone Conclusion. LOL

They are full of sh#t. No doubt.

Would just love to see that fat pig Dutrow's excuse when Curlin beats Little Brown by 15 lengths.

Dream on. It's not going to happen.

Why would they run Big Brown against Curlin? He can't beat him and he already has four Grade 1 wins on dirt. So they will run him on turf and synthetic and if he runs big in both of those it will increase his value tremendously.

Bown's next two races are worth millions to the owners. Why would they give it away by trying to beat a horse they know they cannot beat?

How is the next race worth millions to them? When an non graded turf stakes race doesn't mean much, unless they have something in the contract where if they win a 500k turf stakes they get so-so. I understand what winning the BCC does? but this turf race is garbage

Don't you think a turf race is a good prep (and far better than a dirt prep) for racing on synthetic? Seems a very logical thing to me ...

Garbage or otherwise, if he wins on the turf he'd be a 4x G1 winner, dual classic winner and a turf stakes winner. That will make him more attractive as a turf sire, no matter who he beats.

What's more attractive? Making him more valuable winning a turf stakes or sending him to slaughter vs Curlin?

Of course they're ducking and talking empty trash. But when did you start believing what trainers and owners say?

From what I remember reading, they sold 20-25% of him to 3 Chimneys for $10 Million. So they've got to enhance or maintain whatever residual value he has. Other than beating or running a tight 2nd to Curlin, it's not going to happen on dirt.

Thank you, Bruce. Sums up the point I was (poorly) trying to make.

That doesnt help his stud fee. For what they are going to need to stand him for, people looking for a turf sire arent going to bothr with him. in other words there are a whole lot better options in that price range for turf sires.

$5 million for 10% is the number we have been led to believe.

I agree BB cant beat him. But then why does Iavarone suggest a match race? Thats the whole purpose of this thread. Iavarone is chickensh#t and knows BB cant beat Curlin on dirt in a real race. Thats why he suggested a type of race that he might have .000000000000001 % chance of winning vs Curlin.

By the way...how is his next race at MTH worth Millions to the connections? It's a made up non-graded set up race.

According to pig face Dutrow his horse can beat Curlin......

I'll say there's no reason for you to call Dutrow a name like that. Look at what he has accomplish after a rough life. look at his grade 1 wins purse money, etc.. Do you know him personally? If not they statment is out of line.
Sure he is loud big mouth, boastful, however he does back up most of his talk with performances he gets out of his horses. Why is there so much hate for a man that nobody on the website even knows personally.

I'll say there's no reason for you to defend Dutrow. Look at what he has done that led to his rough life. Look at his multiple medication violations, suspensions, etc. Do you know him personally? If not, you're out of line.

He is a loud big mouth, boastful, but then turns yellow when Curlin and Congress comes-a-callin'. Why is there so much love for a man that nobody on the website even knows personally?

And Steve Asmussen is a saint? This is ri-goddamn-diculous how the majority of this board hates on Team Brown and sucks the balls of Team Curlin.

Lesser of two evils in this situation. Mainly I just think it's funny how defensive the guy got about Dutrow.

All you guys are hard core racing fans. Are you going to alter your day to make sure you'll be able to watch Big Brown face a few stiffs in on the second Saturday of September?

There's no reason for you to call Steve Asmussen a name like that. Do you know him personally? If not, you shouldn't be talking about him on a racing message board.

Asmussen would clearly be devastated knowing Pillow
gave him a keyboard smiting.

FIrst of all I do not know him personally. secondly if you think all the other big time trainers like Asmussen Pletcher, etc do not cheat and use illegal drugs and don't get suspensions (Amussen) then your head is in the sand. I have nothing wrong with someone disliking a trainer and saying so , it's their right. But to call a man a fat pig is for 12 yr old juveniles not a adult man. i just hate to see this forum turn into a grade school foul mouth name calling
site. Let's agree to disagree but name calling? Let's have a little more class than this.
